"Reflections"

Today's share is a favourite of mine! Completed a little while ago and recently published in Scrap365!!
When I received the acceptance email from Ali Paris, I had to read and re-read several times to make sure I was seeing correctly. I suppose one never believes in oneself like they should and whilst sending off a few layouts for submission to this awesome mag, I never ever thought that they would be considered  or even published for that fact. So to say the least I was over the moon. And a huge thank you Ali! xx

And so this is a favourite of mine because of the memories it brings about. The photo is of myself and my two younger brothers I think when I was about 9. We don't have a great deal of photos of us as kids so it is especially dear to me.

Hope you enjoy the details and close-ups below.

"Reflections"

I have used again my favourite range from Prima the "Engraver" Collection.

I used some differing stamps. These birds are from the Kaisercraft acrylic stamps called "Periwinkle". They were all stamped on Luggage tags and fussy cut and mounted.

These gorgeous chippies from Dusty Attic. I simply coated these with Acrylic Antique white and inked randomly with a little Vintage Photo Distress Ink.

The Kaisercraft Wood Flourish Birdcage was dressed similarly. I also added a little lace and a section of the beautiful measuring tape from the Engraver papers. The Memory Maze script word (Moments) was covered with a little Liquid Pearls (Onyx Pearl).

I added some journalling to some hand dyded luggage tags using Kaisercraft Teeny Tiny Alpha Stickers. I dyded these tags using coffee. Loved the end result with the dark splotches.

And lastly my hand made liquid pearl flourishes on acetate which I then fussy cut and glued.

I hope you have enjoyed your visit here and that you have a most beautiful day.

Welcome back! I know it has been a little while between posts, but as last post, be assured I have been busily scrapping away! Today I have a quick share with a couple of closeups of a recently published layout titled "Sweet". This was published in Scrapbooking Memories Magazine volume 16 #9. You will find this layout in the Final Encore section on page 104. Along side this I also had published an off the page project as well. I promise to post that one next! But first thing is first....."Sweet".

The paper ranges used are a combination of Prima's Engraver Collection and Crate Paper!!

I also used Prima's Say It in Crystals (circles) along with some beautiful hand dyed lace from Bella Paperie.

I have also used some Dusty Attic and Memory Maze Chippie goodness and a variety of Green Tara and Kaisercraft paper flowers. Also Tim Holtz metal clocks!!! Love these!!

I hope you have enjoyed dropping by......... Till next time, take care.

"Magical Moments"

Good morning and welcome back.
Today I have a layout completed a little while back......and I would have to say that it is a favourite of mine. And the photo a favourite too. This one of my eldest daughter taking a stroll along the beach at Sandgate.

This is a pretty simple layout in which I have used the papers from the Pion collection - Shorline Treasures. Gorjus, gorjus papers!! Just perfect for those shabby / vintage layouts to create a moment in time. Keep scrolling for more close-ups...I hope you enjoy this as much as I do.

"Magical Moments"

To start this page off I have cut the wood paneling into panels and distressed and then tore each panel top and bottom and layered them behind the photo to give a rustic beachside feel.
I have used a lot of  beautiful flowers from Petaloo. I have used three differing packs on this layout....incredible I know but it just had to be done.

And of course some Prima Shabby Chic Treasure vintage frames. I have divided one of these in half to go further!! Chipboard word from Memory Maze. These new words are very fine and more than perfect to emboss as I have here with some Lindy's embossing powders.

My favourite thing to do is to make my own flourishes using Liquid Pearls!

Lots of pretties on this page to look at.......

I finished up the layout with found shells from the beach, some Dusty Attic chipboard fishnet paneling, some hand dyed cheesecloth and a few seed beads and Kaisercraft pearls.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you all have a very wonderful day.

"The Peaceful Heart"

Good morning and happy spring season to you all. Today I want to share a very special layout that I created a little while ago using a photo of my son and our two dogs back when they were only pups. It was actually a year ago that these photos were taken.......... how time flies.

I have included some close-ups for you.............just keep scrolling.

I created this vintage shabby styled layout using the collection of papers called Shoreline Treasure from the Pion. Along with this beautiful paper collection I adorned this layout with Shabby Chic Treasure Resins, flowers from Petaloo and Dusty Attic chipboards,

I did a lot of distressing, tearing and layering on this layout.

Love this fish net chipboard. I tore it up into pieces and gave it a splash of gesso with a little inking using Distress inks.

I also used the sea shells resins and these have also been inked a little. I have tucked in a little cheesecloth which was stained with some coffee and a few seed beads that having been sitting in my stash for soooooo long.

And another close-up.

Beautiful flowers from Petaloo. These were altered using a little distress ink also. The chipboard here has been inked also and then stamped using a crackle stamp.

Thanks for popping by and
I hope that you have enjoyed your visit here.

Take care until next time.
