"Perfection"

Happy Monday to you all!!

Today I want to share a layout of mine that was completed quite some time ago. This is the very first layout I ever had published in Australian Scrapbooking Memories. My style has certainly evolved since this, but it still remains a favourite.

The photo of Cydne was taken whilst at the beach on Australia Day 2011.

And a few close-ups:

Of course a little chipboard Flourish

And another chippie (word - "Perfection") with additional machine sewing. .

And Rub-ons.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day.

"Sweet Nostalgia"

Sweet Nostalgia 1 & 2
A sneak peek of my upcoming "Sweet Nostalgia" classes for February.

Capture sweet precious memories in a vintage shabby style layout. With sweet floral images, and embellishments, lots of laces and dimension and a fabulous pink, grey and white colour scheme. It is the perfect solution for savouring special family memories or just everyday moments. Each layout is a separate class done over a 6 hour period. Do all three or only one, you choose. Available in Takeaway with full detailed instructions and photographs.

Once Upon A.....Sketch January 2014 Challenge

Welcome to my blog!

It has been a long time coming but finally I have done it!
To start off  this blog and the New Year, I would like to share a layout I have completed for the January Once Upon A.....Sketch Challenge. This is my take on the beautiful sketch provided by the talented Nadia.

Dream

And a few closeups for you.

Here I have used a Kaisercraft Stencil Template called "Wheat" and of course my favourites - Rub-on quotes.

Prima and Petaloo flowers all dry brushed with a little Gesso.

I used a quote for my journalling on the layout, it reads:

Dream as if you will live forever.
Live as if there's no tomorrow.

I also journalled on the back for Cydne to read, it reads:

My dearest little Cydne, may you always Dream big. May you always find love, friendship and happiness. And always remember I love you no matter what!
To the moon and back. Mum xx-xxx
