"Dream" Dusty Attic / Maja Moodboard DT creation

Welcome back and hello!
I hope this post finds you happy and well. Today I have for you a Moodboard inspired layout. Dusty Attic's June moodboard is AMAZING !!!!! I absolutely love this as you can well imagine. I am not really a pink girl but everything about this is totally gorgeous! Wouldn't you agree? There are still a few days left for you to create something to submit to be in the running to win a fantastic voucher worth $100 of Dusty goodness. That would buy a fantastic amount of chipboard!!
 Just saying..............

And my layout created with this beautiful moodboard above is titled.........

"Dream".......

I have used a combination of Maja Designs gorgeously stunning Vintage Summer and Vintage Spring Basics collection to create my layered background of torn and distressed papers.

Now here is where all the Dusty goodness begins.........arghhhhhhhh. Here I am going to explain that from time to time I have a favourite chipboard. And lets just say it may be the Fleur de Lis ...... well I will put this in a little basket right at arms reach on my scrap table. And almost each layout I create I will reach into this little basket. I can't tell you how often I have wanted to use this piece......but finally it happened for the perfect project. I think it just fit wonderfully here. You can see these pieces above cut into 2's and tucked amoungst my paper layers. Yay I was so happy when this worked!

I love these Dusty Title chipboards. They are totally gorgeous. This one was dressed in some Dusty Attic Sugar Plum acrylic paint and then I toned it down a little to compliment my page with some white gesso and of course some Dress My Craft sparkling dust........

I have also used Dusty's Swirly Frame which is another favourite of course. It was cut into two and used to frame these beautiful photo's of my daughter Ashlea. We held a Mad Hatters Tea Party a little while back and she dressed as the Queen and looked just stunning. These photos of course were changed to a Sepia tone to help fit my layout and the moodboard.

Here you can see my Fleur de Lis coloured with inks and paints. Atop of it I sat the small Decorative #1 frame and then on top of that a Mini Clock Face. The mini clockfaces are the perfect fit for this frame!!

Okay and I love me a little or quite a lot however you look at it of the Dress My Craft
Princess Mix Sequins. I also gave my layout a good sprinkling of  Dress My Craft's Sparkling Dust just to make it shine that little bit more.

I also added in some florals but I kept it quite minimal for me that it. Above you can see the 49andMarket Floral Mixology flowers that I used. These are the Pina Colada coloured florals that I changed up by wiping over with a little Dusty Sugar Plum acrylic paint.

I have also tucked in a little lace and muslin to keep the layout as soft as possible.

And lastly these gorgeous gorgeous Dusty Attic Heart Arrows. I have dressed both the large and the small chippies in some Star Dust Stickles to really make them pop. I then added them into my clusters of flowers.
Well that is all from me today. I hope you have a beautiful weekend and find some time for you !

Big hugs .....

Tina x

"Another day in paradise" - 49andMarket DT creation

"Another day in Paradise"

is my next creation using the gorgeous Sand and Sea Collection from49andMarket.

I sat down to three sheets of papers to complete this layout not knowing at any stage where exactly it would go. I even changed the photo several times. Below are all the sheets of gorgeousness I got to work with. Deciding which one to use was so very hard so I basically used them all.

Aren't they just beautiful. So as you can see Tangled's reverse was my background page which I also stenciled on using a Dusty Attic stencil "Fishnet".

And in my box of goodness from Janene this month I received these beauties. Absolutely perfect! They are to die for I tell you! As Molly would say "go out and do yourself a favour". You really can't go wrong. They have four sizes in each pack full of 49 flowers exactly in different shades. So I decided to use all four of these colour ranges. They match this collection beautifully.

I have also added in some beautiful Dusty Attic Baroque Corner chipboards and a little chipboard pebble with the title
"Another day in paradise".

And some more close-ups for you. I love this beachside mailbox, it is just the cutest.

Oh and of course so is the lighthouse.

And as you can see above I have added in some of my own shells and muslin to keep it more realistic.

Well that is all from me today. Thank you ever so much for joining me today. Until next time take care and happy scrapping.

Big hugs Tina xx

"Salt in the air and Sand in my Hair" 49andMarket / Dusty Attic DT creation

A huge welcome to you ! Well it has been sometime since I have been here to write up a blog post for a creation as my family and I have been away on holiday. Getting back to my scrapdesk was a delight today. I couldn't have been happier to create. And to make things doubly exciting I got to finally use the goodies box that my lovely friend Janene posted to me while we were away. The gorgeous Sand and Sea collection along with copius amounts of the new release Floral Mixology flowers and lots of Dress my Craft Sequins and Sparkling Dust......so darn pretty the whole lot!!!
And with all this I created a seaside layout of my youngest from a few years back whilst we were on holidays (seems like we are always on holidays), at Forster on our way to Sydney for a Takewondo Competition. I love this photo of her pulling the sand from her hand. And alas the Dusty Chipboard title I chose works perfectly to compliment this layout.

"Salt in the Air and Sand in my Hair"

My background started off with 49andMarkets gorgeous “Beach this way”. I could use this piece a thousand times over and not tire of it. I decided to do a little extra stencilling using Dusty Attic’s confetti #2 with some Texture Paste White Crackle. I also did some colouring using some Inka Gold with Aquamarine very sparingly. I wanted to keep the focus on the photo so I didn’t want to use to much colour elsewhere.

Remember to keep scrolling for a complete materials list below.
Well that is all from me until tomorrow night when I will have another of 49andMarket creation to share with you.
Until then take care.

Tina x
