A big welcoming hello to you and a huge thankyou for popping in. Tina with
you today to share another of my projects. This project has been titled “Happy Moments”.
For my project layout today I have used yet again the Vintage Artistry
Collection in Sage. Oh how I love sage! And the photo memory is of my gorgeous girl and our pet boy Rafael. I have used this
photo a number of times as I feel it is a gorgeous photo of the two of them. Maybe a little out of focus but hey I
am not a professional. And any photo chance I can take, I take it. What captures me with this photo is their eyes. They are
both looking directly at me. Something that is very
rare when working with children and pets I find.
I have used for my background piece the patterned paper titled “Echoes”. I
did only a little stencilling using the brick stencil from Dusty Attic with some Crackle Paste. I wanted to leave as much of the
background detail on this beautiful paper to shine. I did a small amount of stamping using 49andMarket’s Ticket Express and
some colouring to keep with the background colours
using Finnabairs Acrylic Paints and Rust Pastes.
My layering of the photo was simple using the 49andMarket’s Collage Stack
from the Sage collection. No need for searching
for that perfect piece. They are all co-ordinated for you, in this gorgeous
pack full to the brim. The little ticket embellishments are just
the cutest and my favourite.
I used two packs of flowers (Wildflowers and Vintage Shade Blossoms) to
embellish around the Archival Boards from the “Happy Moments” pack. These pieces of archivals were dressed using a little
swipe of the Distress Ink pad of Walnut Stain.
The title was dressed with a thick coat of white crackle paste. I also
coloured the centres of the Cotton Wildflowers with a touch of metallic acrylic paint.
