"Paradise Found" Shimmerz Paints and Dusty Attic Design Team Creation.

Hi there and welcome back.
For my project here today I have combined my Shimmerz and Dusty Attic DT project.

This is ......"Paradise Found".....

I found these really cute photos of my youngest from our last visit to Toogoom last Easter and just couldn't resist using them. Of course when I took them I was a long way up the beach with my zoom lens on, but in the actual photo she looked so miniscul. So I decided to print off 2 photos and cut them down to sit inside 2 different sized frames.

I have used the Dusty Attic Ornate Cirle Frame Set. I absolutely adore this set. They are just stunning. I decided to highlight the intricate pattern on the inside of the circle so I firstly coated the frame sets with Shimmerz Paste-eez (Salt of the Earth) and heat set it so that it bubbled and set. Then I rubbed over a little more Paste-eez in (Sea U in th eMornin) very randomly and re heated the chipboard again. I then did some inking and covered them completely in a generous amount of Dusty Attic Crackle Varnish. Once my frames dried I adhered the photos on to the back of the frames and added some 49andMarket thick jute to the front of the frames to highlight the photo somewhat more.

My background page is a simple piece of 12 x 12 chipboard primed with gessos and spritzed with some gorgeous Shimmerz Spritz "Chance of Rain". Once it dried I added in some Paste-eez (Salt of the Earth) through the Dusty Attic Fish Net Stencil and dried this off. I also did a little random stamping and inking of my background edges.

The Chain as you can see above was coloured using Shimmerz "Chance of Rain" Spritz.

And above is the Clock face and hands that was coloured with "Sea U in the Mornin'" Paste-eez, ink and Dusty Attic Clear Varnish Crackle.

And above you can see how well the Mystic Flourishes turned out. They were firstly inked with Walnut Stain Distress ink and then  randomly coloured using my finger with Shimmerz Creameez ("Firm Foundation"). Love how the colour turned out but I wanted it to really stand out so I added more Crackle Varnish over the top to really make the colours pop.

And lastly I have added in some gorgeous 49andMarket flowers with some little bits found at the beach.

Well that is all from me today. I hope you enjoyed my post and project here today.
Until next time happy scrapping.
