A Beautiful Friendship

Hello and welcome back. Today I have another share for you.

We lost our dog Sam about 2 years ago at the ripe age of 14 years. She came into our lives whilst I was pregnant with our first child Hayden, so you can imagine she became quite an integral part of our lives and a big part of our children's lives. She loved nothing better than to play with the kids and follow me around whenever they weren't there. This photo was taken not long before she passed, so it is a very special photo. I wanted to use this photo in this layout to capture the beautiful bond between Ashlea and Sam.

The papers used for this layout were from Fabscraps Classic collection. The framework 

was punched from a We R Memory 

Keeper's 12 x12 inch punch.

Dusty Attic Flutterbies a favourite. I soaked these in water and separated the chipboard layers and left them to dry. Inked, embossed and painted the layers and reassembled. 

The flowers were misted with Glimmermist "Wheatfields".Velvet leaves from Sister Rose Violet.
